There's no doubt that if you're in Mallorca on holiday and in a setting like the one offered by Agroturismo Son Ginebró, you'll be keen to discover the surrounding areas and the activities you can participate in during your stay on the island. Below are a range of the different activities to help you make the most of your holiday.
Costitx is known for its hiking trails; Sencelles, Sa Pobla, Sineu... To name just a few of the different trails you can spend the day discovering out in the open and enjoying nature to the fullest.
Sineu, just 9 km from Agroturismo Son Ginebró, is home to the only market on Mallorca where live animals are traded. This market is featured in all the tourist circuits in Mallorca and here you can find vegetables, animals, fruit, flowers and even trees. It is held every Wednesday and entry is free of charge.
Inca is the island's "leather capital" on account of its long tradition producing high-quality footwear and is home to large-scale shops like Camper, and small local businesses and workshops with decades of experience.
Gastronomy in Mallorca is world renowned, particularly its sobrasada paste and ensaimada pastries, with all visitors taking at least one home with them after their visit; however, there is much more to cuisine on Mallorca. We recommend you try "Sa cuina de n'Aina" restaurant in Sencelles, just nine minutes away from Agroturismo Son Ginebró by car. This restaurant, in an old Mallorcan house, serves the best traditional cuisine from the island.
Agroturismo Son Ginebró is located at the heart of Mallorca, although this doesn't mean visiting the island's best beaches is beyond our guests. Less than half an hour away are the beaches of Puerto Pollensa, Alcudia, C`Picafort, Cala San Vicent and Son Serra de Marina in addition to a range of coves in the north of the island.
